The Sound of Support 🎶—3 Big Goals, One Powerful Campaign
Dear Parents, Alumni, and Community Members,
Over the past five years, the Mountain Brook Band has experienced extraordinary growth—not just in numbers, but in excellence, spirit, and impact. What began as a talented group of young musicians has evolved into a high-performing ensemble recognized across our state and beyond. Our students have shown what’s possible when passion, discipline, and community support come together.
This year, we have an opportunity that reflects how far we’ve come—and where we’re going next.
We’ve been invited to represent our community on the international stage, performing in Vienna, Austria, one of the world’s most iconic cities for classical music. This trip is more than a performance. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime educational and cultural experience that will broaden our students’ horizons, challenge them musically, and inspire them for years to come.
To make this dream possible, we’ve launched The Sound of Support, a campaign that will fund three key priorities:
✈️ Financial assistance to help offset the student cost of the Vienna trip
🥁 New uniforms for our growing marching band
🎹 A new piano for the Mountain Brook Junior High Band
These initiatives reflect our belief in the power of music education to shape lives. Band builds confidence, discipline, teamwork, and creativity—and these experiences stay with our students far beyond the stage. Would you consider making a donation to support these remarkable young musicians?

The Mountain Brook Band program has grown tremendously over the past five years—both in size and in opportunity. Our students have achieved incredible success, and this year we’re preparing for one of our most exciting milestones yet: a performance tour in Vienna, Austria, the world’s capital of music.
To continue providing transformative experiences like this, we’re launching Sustaining the Sound, a corporate sponsorship initiative designed to build strong partnerships between our band and community-minded businesses.

✈️ Travel assistance for performances and educational experiences
🎺 Program growth, including new instruments, PA equipment, and other teaching materials
